Chemical Blacking

A chemical conversion coating that imparts a black finish to steel components without affecting the dimensions of the component. Together with waxes, oils or rust preventative sealants that absorb into the coating, a durable black  corrosion resistant finish can be obtained on most iron or steel alloys.
